Bear Canyon Caregivers Comments
A caregiver whose mother was recently enrolled and had attended SYC only twice made the following statement: “This (SYC) has made such a difference. The nurse came from Heritage Home Health Care and she couldn’t believe the difference in mom in just a few days, she was stunned.”
On March 20th a caregiver reported that her aunt comes home with a much better attitude since she started attending Share Your Care.
On March 22nd Laura Brown with the City of Albuquerque Department of Senior Affairs Senior Sports and Fitness Program made the following comment about Bear Canyon Share Your Care: “When you walk into some places it is so tense it’s uncomfortable. When I walk in here (Bear Canyon) I feel love and relaxation and a kind of coming home feeling.”
Comments from Bear Canyon caregivers in June regarding Share Your Care services are as follows: June 5th: “I appreciate everyone’s hard work so much; everyone is so nice and so helpful. June 14th: “Thanks for everything. The Bear Canyon team is the best!” June 20th: “I want to thank the Bear Canyon team for the wonderful job you do. Mom really loves it and comments on how good the food is and that the staff always makes sure she gets a dinner roll. Mom feels she gets extra special treatment. I really appreciate your program; it’s so wonderful that Mom has a place she can go and be nurtured.”
