History
Share Your Care was founded in 1975 by a grass roots effort to provide day services for our community's aging population as well as adults with physical and mental disabilities. Through combined efforts of our dedicated staff and volunteers, our Board of Directors who volunteer both their time and expertise toward the success of the Agency, and with support from a wide variety of funding agencies in New Mexico, Share Your Care has cared for hundreds of individuals and families. For more than 25 years, Share Your Care has provided a community-based day program for disabled persons and respite for their families and caregivers. Today, Share Your Care offers a comprehensive program that provides a variety of health, social and related support services in a secure setting. In 1996, the Commission for Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) awarded it's highest three year accreditation to Share Your Care.
