Recent Events
. The Ponderosa DD Waiver General / ISB program spring highlight events this quarter is that in July we scheduled swimming which took place every Wednesday. Other highlights were going on a picnic to Tingley Beach to feed the ducks and having several BBQ’s on site for lunch. All seemed to really enjoy that part.
As for the month of August we had a Pajama Day and all the individuals that participated attended with wearing their PJ’s and that was a fun and relaxing day. Riding the rail runner was another big event that took place as a picnic outing and those who attended were so exited because they took it all the way to Bernalillo and back. They even took pictures of themselves on the rail runner. We had a group attend in taking the city bus ride and again all seemed to like that too.
As for September the big event was attending the State Fair in which it was offered each day that it was on. We continue to offer a variety of outing events to meet the individuals needs.
